Hey folks, today I want to talk about an uncommon way of reflection, for those who are here recently, but I guess a common one for those who are part of this community for quite some time. 😊
It’s about a reflection inspired by an experience I had recently, which is a bout of food poisoning. A few weeks ago, I experienced a bout of food poisoning that left me reflecting on how the body works to regain balance when faced with an internal crisis.
Of course, this isn’t my first time experiencing it, and this process is something I learned in basic biology lessons decades ago, but what I found interesting, and I want to share with you, is the parallelism between the recovery process of our body and that of our psyche. As unpleasant as the experience was, it offered a powerful metaphor for the way we handle emotional and psychological struggles in our lives.
